Indexing is the process that allows search engines to store your webpage in their database. If a page is not indexed, it cannot appear in search results. It does not matter how good the content is or how much time you spent optimizing it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Think of indexing as adding a book to a library. If the book never makes it onto the shelf, nobody can find it. The same idea applies to your website.<\/span><\/p>\n

When search engines visit your website, they read your pages and follow links to discover new content. This process is called crawling.<\/span><\/p>\n
